Built on the rules of both countries
Both countries are written out below. Elsewhere on the site the rules follow your language: the Dutch version shows the Netherlands, the Flemish version Belgium, and the other languages, English included, show both. You switch with the language picker.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the services
Does BorgAI work in both the Netherlands and Flanders?
Yes. In the Netherlands it knows the Wkb, the KVK and the VAT rate based on the build year from the BAG; in Flanders it knows the KBO, and there you choose the reduced 6% renovation rate per line. The site follows your language: the Dutch version shows the Dutch rules, the Flemish version the Belgian ones. You switch with the language picker. The app itself runs in Dutch; the agent answers you in English.
Can I send an e-invoice, for example in Belgium?
Yes. For each invoice you send, you download the e-invoice (UBL) on the invoice page. You send that file to your customer through your own accounting software or your accountant.
How do the tools work together?
They work on the same project. A signed quote produces the contract and later the invoice, and a work order becomes an invoice for the same amount. So you never have to retype anything.
Do I have to use every tool?
No. Every tool is in every plan, and you use what fits your jobs. What you do not need stays out of your way.
Which VAT rate applies to renovation in the Netherlands?
9% on labour for a home older than two years, otherwise 21%. BorgAI works that out from the build year in the BAG, so a quote never goes out at the wrong rate.
Which VAT rate applies to renovation in Flanders?
6% for renovation of a home older than ten years, otherwise 21%. You choose the rate per line on the quote, because BorgAI does not know the age of a Belgian home. The old certificate has been replaced by a statement on the invoice. BorgAI does not add that statement for you yet, so agree with your accountant how you add it.
