Why is custom work more expensive than a Surge Agent subscription?
Surge Agent rents out proven, standardized bots and websites — which is why setup stays capped at €250 there and monthly rent starts at €79. Van Borg builds systems that fit exactly around your process, with distinct design, integrations and source-code ownership. You pay for precision and ownership; the subscription pays for speed and a low entry.
What determines the final price of a project?
Three things: the number of systems to connect, the number of steps and exceptions in the process, and the security and scale requirements. After one strategy call you get a fixed price per phase — no open-ended hourly billing.
Can I start small and expand later?
Yes — that's our standard advice. Start with the workflow or bot with the strongest business case, prove the return, then build on. The architecture is ready for it from day one.
Are there running costs after delivery?
Only if you want them. Hosting, monitoring and iteration start at €99–€499 per month depending on the service, cancellable monthly. You can also manage it yourself or place it elsewhere — the code and documentation are yours.
