# What does admin cost in your industry?

A receptionist in the Netherlands costs €2,350 to €2,800 gross per month, an admin assistant €2,400 to €3,160. But what you actually lose depends on your trade: a physio practice misses different calls than an estate agency, and a bookkeeper loses their hours to something other than a garage. Below is what that work costs per sector, where it goes wrong, and which part an AI employee takes over.

The figures come from the trade bodies and Statistics Netherlands; the source sits under each number and at the foot of each page. Amounts for human work include employer costs. Our own prices are on the pricing page.

## An AI receptionist for a physiotherapy practice

Two thirds of the 10,000-plus Dutch physio practices work without a receptionist. An AI receptionist answers during treatment, books and reminds.
