# Conversion website with SEO, AEO and GEO: found in Google and ChatGPT

## What is a conversion website?

A conversion website is a site built to generate enquiries rather than merely look tidy. A handful of pages, one clear action per page, and an agent that picks up the conversation on the spot. At Van Borg Agency: from €0 setup and €89 per month with a trade template, or from €250 setup custom — six content pages are included, and every page beyond that is €15 per month with no setup.

The difference from an ordinary company site isn't the design but the structure. Every page answers one question a customer actually asks, every page has one next step, and the visitor who still hesitates doesn't get a contact form but a [ChatAgent](https://vanborg.com/en/services/chatagent) that answers the question there and then and collects the full enquiry. What we build is on the [websites page](https://vanborg.com/en/services/websites).

## What do SEO, AEO and GEO mean?

SEO gets you found in Google, AEO gets your copy shown as a direct answer, and GEO gets AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini to name your business. They are three layers on the same site: the same page has to rank, get quoted and get mentioned in an AI answer.

The reason this only became a topic now: until recently a search ended in a list of blue links. Today a share of your customers gets an answer without ever clicking a site: in the AI summary at the top of Google, or in a conversation with ChatGPT. For those customers your ranking doesn't decide anything; being mentioned does.

| Layer | What it's about | What you actually do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| SEO | Ranking in Google | Technical health, speed, internal links, keywords per page |
| AEO | Being shown as the answer | Question as heading, short answer below, FAQ structured data |
| GEO | Being named by AI | Quotable facts, clean HTML, consistent business details |

### Why SEO alone is no longer enough

Because the three layers reward different things. SEO likes authority and links. AEO likes a clearly bounded answer. GEO likes facts you can lift verbatim: "€249 per month including 600 call minutes" is quotable, "competitively priced" never is. A page built for SEO only scores on the first layer and goes silent on the other two.

## How do you get ChatGPT to name your business?

By making your site readable to a language model: one H1 per page, headings that state customer questions literally, and immediately below them a 40 to 60 word answer that stands up on its own. On top of that structured data (JSON-LD), clean server-rendered HTML and consistent business details everywhere online.

Most trade businesses underestimate that last part. A language model cuts a page into chunks around the headings; what it lifts is the first paragraph under such a heading. If that reads "That costs roughly…", the fragment is worthless once detached. If it reads "A call-out in Groningen costs €95 in travel charges…", it's usable. And then you get named.

We handle the technical side: [JSON-LD structured data](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/intro-structured-data) with `LocalBusiness`, `Service` and `FAQPage`, server-rendered HTML so AI crawlers that don't execute JavaScript still see your copy, an `llms.txt` listing your services and service area, and a sitemap that's actually correct. Plus [Core Web Vitals](https://web.dev/articles/vitals) within the thresholds: LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 milliseconds, CLS under 0.1.

### What you supply

Your services, your service area, your rates and around ten real project photos. Those rates and service areas are gold: they're exactly the facts both Google and ChatGPT ask for and that your competitor usually hides. Businesses that do publish their prices get named more often.

## What does a conversion website with SEO, AEO and GEO cost?

From €0 one-off setup and €89 per month with a trade template, or from €250 and €99 per month custom, excluding VAT. That covers everything: hosting, SSL, maintenance, one change per month and the technical layer for both Google and AI. There's a twelve-month minimum, after which you can cancel monthly. Agencies sell the SEO/AEO/GEO layer alone for around €150 per month.

Prices updated: August 2026. Active SEO, AEO and GEO work is an add-on in two steps: Findability optimisation sets your site up once for €395, and the Findability retainer then keeps it going — new content, photos and a monthly report — for €249 per month. The technology to be findable is already free in every site. All variants are on the [pricing page](https://vanborg.com/en/pricing).

## Why isn't a €30/month template site enough?

Because a template subscription gives you an online business card, not an enquiry machine. What's missing is exactly what counts: conversion structure, load speed, structured data, AI findability and an agent that takes the conversation. On top of that such a site stays exactly as it is; upkeep and improvement are on you. A full price comparison between templates, agencies and rental is in [what does a website cost in 2026](https://vanborg.com/en/blog/website-cost-netherlands).

And "on you" is where it goes wrong in construction. The site goes live, looks fine, and two years later still sits there unchanged (with 2024 rates and three services you no longer offer). With us the maintenance is in the rent, including updating your copy and structured data when the search engines change their rules again. Right now that happens a few times a year.

What we deliberately don't do: promise you'll be number one for "installer Groningen" within three months. Nobody can guarantee that, and anyone who promises it is selling you something other than what they deliver.

## How fast is the website live?

The template line is live in one to two weeks, the custom line in two to three. We build on our own fast stack, no slow WordPress theme, and fill the site with your services, service area and photos. You provide input in a single 30 to 45 minute conversation; we do the rest, including copy, structured data and the Search Console connection.

Your domain name and your Google connections (Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile) always stay yours, even if you stop. So you're never locked in: you can take your domain elsewhere at any time. What exactly happens when you cancel, and the rest of the conditions, is in the [terms](https://vanborg.com/en/terms).

Want to know whether your current site gets found by AI search engines? In a free 30 to 45 minute [scan](https://vanborg.com/en/contact) we take a look: what's technically missing, which customer questions your site fails to answer, and whether a new [conversion website](https://vanborg.com/en/services/websites) would pay for itself in your case.
